Cauliflower Cheese Sticks

Lots of cheese sticks are sold in stores. But did you know you can make your own cheese sticks too? And with delicious flavors!

Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 egg, whisked

Materials:

  • Oven
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking tray
  • Pot
  • Water
  • Colander
  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stirring spoon

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F.
  2. Place parchment paper over a baking tray.
  3. Fill a pot with water. Wait for the water to boil.
  4. Add the cauliflower into the pot. Let it boil for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the cauliflower into a colander to drain out the hot water. Cool down the cauliflower by letting cold water run through.
  6. Put the cauliflower into a food processor. Blend until the cauliflower is minced into small pieces.
  7. Put the cauliflower mixture, egg, cheese, and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir well.
  8. Wet your hands. Grab chunks of the mixture with your hands. Shape each chunk into a stick. Keep the stick thick enough so it doesn’t break apart.
  9. Place the cheese sticks onto the baking tray. Put the tray in the oven.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes or until the sticks look crispy. Flip over the cheese sticks. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the other side looks crispy.

Pumpkin Porridge

Fast and easy to cook and eat! Enjoy this cozy porridge.

Prep and cook time: 15 minutes | Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups canned pumpkin
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • ¼ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup pecans, crushed

Materials:

  • Pot
  • Stovetop
  • Stirring spoon
  • Small bowls

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients (except the pecans) in a pot.
  2. Cook the mixture on the stovetop (high heat) until it boils.
  3. Put it on low heat. Stir the mixture for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the mixture in small bowls. Sprinkle the crushed pecans over each bowl.

Quinoa Salad Bowls

This recipe is easy! Just toss in the ingredients. And soon, you’ll have healthy bowls of quinoa salad!

Prep and cook time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups quinoa
  • 4 cups vegetable stock
  • ½ cups parsley, chopped
  • 5 tablespoons pesto

Materials:

  • Pot
  • Stovetop
  • Stirring spoon

Directions:

  1. Put the quinoa and vegetable stock in a pot. Turn the stovetop on high heat. Wait for it to boil.
  2. Let it cook. Turn on low heat for 25 minutes or until the quinoa softens.
  3. Put the pesto into the pot and stir well. Keep it on low heat for another 3 minutes.
  4. Add the parsley to the pot and stir well.
