Friendship Lollipops

Prep time: 20 minutes | Wait time: 1 hour | Servings: 10

Craft these lollipops inspired by the colors of our island’s Friendship Party. (It’s an annual event celebrating friendships on Party Parrot World.) These lollipops are best enjoyed when sharing with friends!

Ingredients:

  • ⅔ cup white candy melt
  • ⅔ cup light green candy melt
  • ⅔ cup light purple, lavender, or lilac candy melt
  • 10 lollipop sticks

Materials:

  • Parchment paper
  • Baking tray
  • 3 disposable piping bags
  • Microwave
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Place parchment paper over a baking tray.
  2. Put the white candy melt into a disposable piping bag. Microwave the bag for 1 minute at 80% power. On the bag’s surface, use your fingers to smoothen the melt. Keep microwaving the bag for 15 seconds each time. Stop when the candy has melted.
  3. To open the bag’s tip, cut it off with scissors. It should be a inch-long cut.
  4. Push out a thin, white swirl for each lollipop. Wait about 20 minutes or until the swirls have hardened.
  5. Put the green candy melt into another disposable piping bag. Follow steps 2 and 3 to melt and prepare this color.
  6. Push out a green dot at the bottom of the white swirl. Put the lollipop stick’s tip on this green dot.
  7. Push out green melt in a circle surrounding and covering the swirl.
  8. Push out another thin, white swirl onto the green circle.
  9. Put the purple candy melt into another disposable piping bag. Follow steps 2 and 3 to melt and prepare this color.
  10. Just below the green circle, push out a purple bow. Leave enough space so that the circle and bow don’t touch. Make two purple trapezoids, one on each side of the stick. Then, push more purple melt on the stick, connecting the two trapezoids.
  11. Wait about 30 minutes or until all the melt has hardened.
