Our team works hard to improve across your gaming experience. We don’t only work on Party Parrot World, but also our Hideaway launcher. When we release new Hideaway versions, updates may mean more features and fewer bugs!
To get the most improved Hideaway experience and to avoid technical issues, ensure your PC computer has the latest Hideaway version. Follow the steps below to update Hideaway on PC.
Step 1: Find Hideaway in program files
There are three methods. Do just one of them.
Method 1: From the shortcut icon
- If you have the Hideaway desktop shortcut, right-click on the icon.
- Click Open file location.
Method 2: From the Windows search bar
- Click the magnifying glass icon located on the taskbar.
- In the search bar, type ‘Hideaway‘.
- Click Open file location.
Method 3: From File Explorer
- Open File Explorer on your PC.
- In the above search bar, copy, paste, and enter this file address: C:\Program Files.
- If you can’t use the file address search above, follow these steps:
- Open the Local Disk (C:).
- Open the Program Files folder.
- In the list of files, find and open the Hideaway folder.
Step 2: Run the updater
- If you used Method 1 and 3 above, in the Hideaway folder, open updater.
- If you used Method 2, open Check for Updates.
- Wait a few seconds for the updater to find any updates.
- If it tells you that you have the latest version, there’s nothing else you need to do.
- If it tells you to update, continue to Step 3.
Step 3: Update to the latest Hideaway version
- Click the Next button.
- Wait for it to update to the latest Hideaway version.
- Once it tells you it’s done updating, you can close the updater window.
After finishing these steps, the latest Hideaway version is ready for you to play!
Update Hideaway Manually
