Are you getting a parsing error message on your Android device? It may pop up while Hideaway tries to download games onto your device. It’s a common issue that we get asked about. That’s why we wanted to share these simple fixes! Try to fix Android parsing issues with these possible solutions:


Fix 1: Allow Permission to Download Unfamiliar Apps

By default, Android devices don’t allow apps to download other apps. Hideaway needs this permission to download games like Party Parrot World. Here’s how to turn on the permission:

  • Find the Hideaway app icon on your phone screen.
  • Hold onto the Hideaway app icon.
  • Tap App info.

  • If your Android phone is set up differently, you can also try going into the Settings app of your phone.
  • Type ‘hideaway‘ in the search bar to find the Hideaway app info.

  • Scroll down until you find the setting to Install unknown apps. Tap on it.

Fix 2: Delete Partially Downloaded APKs

If your device has partial Hideaway downloads, they could conflict with each other. Follow these steps to remove them:

  • In your device’s file downloads, search for any Hideaway APKs.
  • If they are partially downloaded, delete these files.

Fix 3: Update to the Latest Version

  • Please check that your device’s operating system and browser are up to date.
  • If not, please update them.

Fix 4: Download Hideaway with Another Browser

  • Open another browser on your device.
  • Go to our Download page to download Hideaway.

Fix 5: Temporarily Disable Antivirus or Security Apps

  • Disable any antivirus or security apps on your phone.
  • DO NOT disable any of Android’s built-in features.
  • Once you’ve finished trying Hideaway again, re-enable the apps.
